Gohan - Werelddierendag

There is no better film for that than the dog-human feel-good film Gohan. Three owners, three life stages, one dog that changes everyone forever without words. The film is reminiscent of Hachi and is inspired by the true story of Hima, the stray dog who plays the old Gohan and was rescued by the director. This Thai feel-good drama from the creative team behind the international hit How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies (2024), with the same mix of warmth, humour and emotion, follows the sweet feature film Gohan the life of a stray dog. His story is divided into three chapters, each with a different tone and from a different director. The beginning, revolving around a retired Japanese man who adopts the dog, is a bittersweet farce, the middle a socially critical thriller, and the finale a charming rom-com.
