Gloria!
A feminist costume drama and fairy tale in which female musicians from an orphanage near Venice fight against the Catholic patriarchy. It is 1800 and the Sant'Ignazio Instituto for girls is preparing for a visit from Pope Pius VII. Kapellmeister Perlina insists on composing a piece of music but can no longer play a single note. Meanwhile, five young women discover a pianoforte and secretly work on their own compositions.
