In "In de Hemel ken ik jullie niet," Glodi Lugungu takes the audience into the silence after the storm. About how life sometimes hits incredibly hard, and then suddenly... nothing. No applause, no answer, no idea. From his perspective as a child of two worlds (Congolese-Dutch), he tells stories about identity, expectations, discomfort, and the art of absurdism—all of which you hear and see nonetheless.
About Glodi: Glodi made an impression at the Comedytrain, he has both the AKF Sonneveldprize and the AKF Audience Award under his belt, and the Volkskrant crowned him the greatest up-and-coming comedy talent. And although he can also design clothing or conduct the orchestra for the TV program Maestro, the stage beckons and theaters cheer when he visits with his big and small jokes.
