Rotterdammer Gielzzz is a stand-up comedian of the true old-fashioned stamp, but one who built his career in the new-fangled virtual way. You know what: on the internet. His sharp humor regularly went viral, growing his fan base.

It's time to look those fans in the eye in real life, Gielzzz thought a few years ago. That was a good plan, because he has now exchanged the 'thumbs up' for real applause for three solo shows.
