GeldLab workshop – Mexicaans koken!

GeldLab has been around for 1 year and is therefore treating your children to a workshop by the Children's Kitchen Rotterdam. Children's Kitchen Rotterdam stands for healthy and tasty cooking together. Because cooking yourself is super fun and tastes much better!

The Children's Kitchen is a world kitchen! That's why they enjoy cooking dishes from other countries. The children become acquainted with various food cultures, ingredients, flavors and preparation methods. During this cooking workshop they will cook Mexican food for children!

We say: learned young is done old. If you introduce children to healthy food at a young age and let them experience how much fun it is to prepare it, you contribute to their healthy future. We let the children do as much of their own cutting, cutting, kneading, turning, mortaring and baking as possible, because they can already do a lot at a young age. Plus: if they made it themselves, the food tastes much better!

They go “shopping” themselves. The ingredients are discussed; What is it? Where is it from? What does it smell like? How does it feel? How does it taste? What does it cost? Cleaning up together is of course also included. Afterwards they receive their own dish and the recipe is also taken home, so that they can make it again at home!

The workshop is suitable for children from 8 to 14 years old. Parents/guardians can enjoy the treats afterwards but do not help during the workshop.

Before or after the workshop, the children can also visit GeldLab and test their money skills there.
