Ring, ring. Can I connect you? More than 50 years ago, telephone operators connected callers at lightning speed. While they connected the world, talking to each other was forbidden. This tension is the basis for 'FOON', in which we see three telephone operators at work. The calls keep coming in faster and faster, making them increasingly nervous. The more they connect others, the more the operators lose themselves.
