With guts, energy and a fresh perspective, they share their sharp observations, uncomfortable truths and unexpected stories. No fixed formats or predictable jokes - this is cabaret in its purest form: honest, raw and full of potential. The Leids Cabaret Festival has been the breeding ground for Dutch cabaret talent for over 40 years, with big names such as Najib Amhali, Paulien Cornelisse, Sanne Wallis de Vries and Tim Fransen as former finalists. Now too, the new talents are on their way to television, sold-out tours and their place in the spotlight.
