FIEP

The genre “indie” hardly does justice to the sharpness, imagination and infectiousness that make FIEP’s music so special. Singer, guitarist and songwriter Veerle Suzanna Driessen interweaves her songs with thoughts and emotions—restlessness, doubts, reflections and images from her dreams. Her dynamic, turbulent indie pop draws from a wide range of influences, seamlessly blending post-punk vocals, garage guitars, EDM basslines and more. On stage, Veerle brings these dreams to life with her five-piece band FIEP, delivering an energetic, eccentric and unforgettable live show.

After releasing their debut single “Nightshop” and opening for Wet Leg, FIEP was selected as OOR Talent for Popronde 2022 and quickly became one of the most booked acts of the season. In January 2023, they performed at ESNS, and in March they celebrated the release of their debut EP, 77 Stokes Croft, with a performance at Paradiso in Amsterdam. The summer of 2023 saw them enchant festival audiences at Paaspop, Bospop, Into The Woods and more.
