On New Year's Eve 2019, 32-year-old Faisal Mssyeh, better known as rapper Feis, was shot in Rotterdam-West after accidentally getting into a bar brawl. His death sent shockwaves through the neighborhood and the Dutch hip-hop scene. The documentary Feis Forever offers an intimate look into the artist's life, with conversations with friends such as Winne, U-Niq and Kees de Koning, home videos and interviews with Feis himself. The documentary follows his transformation from a raw street rapper to a mature artist who exposed his inner struggle with poetic lyrics. Despite the tragic ending, the film illustrates how Feis' legacy and inspiration live on in the city, through his music and the memories he left behind.
