Federico Castelli hosts: Duo Vyriy

Kyiv-based Duo Vyriy, consisting of pianist Olena Poguliaieva and saxophonist Carlo Muscat, creates a unique musical world inspired by the mythical “Vyriy” — a land of light, peace and eternal harmony. Their interpretations of Ukrainian compositions combine the sophistication of classical chamber music with the freedom of jazz. Their playing forms an intimate and expressive conversation, in which tradition and innovation reinforce each other. Each performance is an ode to Ukrainian culture and an invitation to experience its beauty through a contemporary lens. Both historical and modern works are given a fresh, personal interpretation. The duo will be presented on this occasion by host Federico Castelli.
