Raw and explosive, but also soft and vulnerable. Every movement is felt. Driven by choreographer Anne Suurendonk's idiosyncratic movement language full of bounces and grooves, supported by the stirring music of Tom van Wee, you as an audience are not only a spectator, but also a co-carrier. With EMO , Suurendonk invites you to feel everything: without shame, without filter.
Last year she won the Innovation Award during the Dutch Dance Days 2024. This award gave her the opportunity to create EMO : a performance that will premiere this edition. The jury praised her as a creator who knows how to touch deeply with complete dedication and a unique movement language.
