Ma Yansong, founder of MAD Architects, talks about his design philosophy and the exhibition Ma Yansong. Architecture and Emotion.

Ma Yansong, founder of MAD Architects, discusses his work, ideas and approach in a conversation with Aric Chen, director of the Nieuwe Instituut. Yansong, known for his futuristic and organic designs, focuses on the spiritual and emotional needs of residents, creating buildings that are in harmony with nature. MAD Architects has a global influence with projects such as the Absolute Towers and the Harbin Opera House. From 17 May to 21 September, the Nieuwe Instituut will be hosting the exhibition Ma Yansong. Architecture and Emotion, which highlights the firm's work.
