Ece Temelkuran On Rebuilding Home
Worldwide, the number of refugees and exiles, the dispossessed and displaced, people without a political home base, and people who are economically excluded is growing. In the years since she left her homeland, the Turkish writer and political thinker Ece Temelkuran has been a political Cassandra, warning the West about the rise of fascism and examining what it means to be cast out and to have no home anymore.
On 29 October, a post-talk with Ece Temelkuran will take place at moezeum, following Do You Remember?, the fourth New Radicalisms Biennial, which takes place from 24 to 27 September. Her latest book, Nation of Strangers, published in February 2026, forms the starting point for a conversation about global displacement, political exile, and what it means to lose your home in the 21st century.
This event can be attended separately or in combination with the New Radicalisms Biennial. Biennial ticket holders can choose the reduced ticket (€10,-) in our ticket shop.
