Duke Ellington From Club To Church

Experience the magic of Duke Ellington in this special concert, performed by a seven-piece formation in arrangements by Ruud Bergamin. The first part is dedicated to Ellington's Cotton Club period with iconic hits such as "It Don't Mean A Thing If It Ain't Got That Swing" and "Take The A Train." After the intermission, it becomes more intimate with Ellington's Sacred Concerts, with spiritual music and impressive melodies such as "Come Sunday" and "Praise God and Dance." The line-up consists of talented artists such as Marie van der Burg (vocals), Ruud Bergamin (saxophone) and many others.
