Four elements. One concert. A world premiere.

With The Elements by conductor and composer Marnix Willem Steffen, DProject Orchestra presents a new work in which the four primal forces of earth, fire, water, and air come to life in music. From the dark depths of the earth to the untamed power of fire, the still air, and the refreshing water: every passage tells a part of the story.

A unique sound experience

A special role is reserved for the Crystal Singing Bowls, played by the Peruvian artist Sons de Samay. These crystal singing bowls give the music an enchanting, almost magical dimension. Specially designed colored lighting also brings the elements to life visually; this is not a concert to just listen to, but one to completely lose yourself in.

Young top talent on a big stage

DProject Orchestra consists of young musicians from the conservatories in Rotterdam, The Hague, and Utrecht. Composer and conductor Marnix Willem Steffen conducts his own work. The orchestra became known through a viral performance at the Amsterdam Marathon, which reached more than a million people worldwide.
