Dokhuis Dialogue: Deep Democracy

Deep Democracy dialogue

Dokhuis and IDEIS invite you to an evening of dialogue about Deep Democracy. The evening begins with a short presentation about this method. You will learn the core principles and how to make diverse viewpoints visible and integrate them into group discussions. Deep Democracy focuses on hearing both majorities and minorities in order to create an inclusive society.

Open and respectful dialogue

After the presentation, you will be guided by moderators in an open, safe and respectful dialogue. The session focuses on “Meritocratie & Sociale Ongelijkheid” and encourages mutual understanding and constructive communication between different perspectives in society.

Living together and connection

Dokhuis Dialoog is a place where you practice dialogue, work together, reflect and experiment. Under the theme ‘Door de ogen van de ander’, you will explore different perspectives and learn to look beyond your own assumptions. The goal is not always agreement, but rather to explore together what is needed to live together with differences. This year, Dokhuis Dialoog focuses on connecting and transforming, with diverse communities showing how connection takes shape in practice.
