Dick de Graaf Quartet with Jens Meijer

Saxophonist Dick de Graaf has been surprising jazz audiences for four decades with his hybrid jazz, inspired by a mixture of types and styles to create robust and adventurous improvisations. Today he tells his 'stories without words' together with pianist Barry Green (UK), bassist Jos Machtel (B) and drummer Jens Meijer. You will hear new repertoire that Dick wrote during the tour on the occasion of the Edison Oeuvre Prize that he was awarded at the end of 2022 and that will soon be released on the CD Lifeline (Zennez Records).
