After this screening there will be a discussion afterwards. In this documentary we follow three farmers - Mees Visser, Cornelis Mosselman and Frank de Koning - who each struggle in their own way with the transition to a more sustainable food system.

Mees, an arable farmer who has been working organically for 35 years, is investigating whether an acceleration towards sustainability is feasible. Cornelis, a strip grower, balances between his pioneering work and financial survival in the current food system. Frank, a greenhouse horticulturist, strongly believes in soil-based cultivation but struggles with sales, supermarket chains and energy problems. Together they talk to experts such as professors and food system thinkers to understand what is needed for system change. With the film they want to challenge viewers to think about their own role in the food chain.
