Daan van der Hoeven & Alina Sharipova

Daan van der Hoeven (26-05-1988) is a stand-up comedian known for his unparalleled improvisations and razor-sharp interactions with the audience. When Daan comes to play, he really comes to play. His crowdwork is unparalleled and is often praised by the public.

Daan regularly performs at festivals such as Lowlands, Paaspop, Concert at Sea and Oerol. He also appeared at the International Comedy Festival Rotterdam and the Utrecht International Comedy Festival.

Daan is no stranger behind the scenes. He has contributed to popular TV programs such as Draadstaal and Dit Was Het Nieuws. He currently works at De Avondshow Met Arjen Lubach.

He can also often be found in the theater and has won several prizes, including the Groningen Student Cabaret Festival.

Alina Sharipova is a Belgian stand-up comedian based in Amsterdam and with strong roots from the post-Soviet period. These ingredients provide a solid breeding ground for the material with which Alina performs.

In her debut show That Funny Feeling, Alina fearlessly delves into the challenges her upbringing brought with it and shares anecdotes about experiences with her quintessential Dutch boyfriend.

The crowdwork show Let's talk is a unique show in which Alina skillfully explores the boundaries between stand-up comedy, improvisation and therapy. Within the framework of this show, Alina creates a unique evening that is never the same.

In 2022, Alina was recognized as One to Watch by Funny Women, a well-deserved recognition of her talent. Alina has opened for big names including Taylor Tomlinson, Nate Bargatze, Ari Shaffir, TJ Miller and Jared Freid. She opened for these comedians, among others, in the Oude Luxor in Rotterdam.
