Cruella

During CineNoord, the film Hello Cruel World will be shown: a stylish crime comedy about Estella, a young fashion designer who becomes entangled in the world of glitter and danger.

CineNoord presents Hello Cruel World, a flamboyant and idiosyncratic film by director Craig Gillespie (Cruella, 2021). The film follows teenager Estella, who dreams of a life as a fashion designer. When she ends up on the streets with her friends Horace and Jasper, her dream seems further away than ever. Everything changes when a rising rock star asks her to design a daring fashion statement. But what is the price of fame – and how far will Estella go to make her name? A punky fashion revue full of sharp humor, style and surprising twists. Spoken in English and French, with Dutch subtitles.
