An ode to the North African fathers who migrated from the east of the Maghreb to the Netherlands

An artist, chef, or collective brings together flavors and migration stories in a sensory experience. Every third Thursday of the month at 6:00 PM at Plein.

A culinary journey through memories

In this edition, Kaoutar invites you to a meal inspired by her father. A man full of stories, flavors, and a deep connection to the eastern Maghreb, the mountains, and the sea. Each dish carries a memory.

At the table, we laugh, pause, and remember the fathers, brothers, uncles, and sons who came to the Netherlands as laborers. Men who carried their home in their hearts.

About Ma3lish – North African Nourishment

Ma3lish is a culinary and creative project that brings the richness of North African cuisine and culture to life. Inspired by the recipes and stories of her Moroccan parents, Kaoutar connects people around the table with nourishing dishes and authentic flavors. The project connects generations by bringing together food, art, poetry, and storytelling, celebrating shared heritage and the power of creation.
