Cross Over Hillegonda muziekfestival 2024

This year, the 4th edition of the festival will take place in the Hillegondakerk, the oldest concert hall in Rotterdam. The COH is a platform for young and established talent of world class and connects the worlds of jazz, classical and world music in an exciting two-day programme. Not afraid to cross the boundaries of traditional genres, a unique sound is created in a unique location, which is the hallmark of this idiosyncratic music festival.

Jazz, classical or world music? Cross Over!

The COH has its musical roots in jazz, but has become much more than that. Jazz stands for freedom and improvisation and is the starting point of the multi-day musical journey. The artists performing at the festival do not fit into one box, but effortlessly manage to combine multiple genres into a new sound. The surprising line-up this year consists of BOI AKIH, the Moon Garden Trio, Inner Duo and, as the icing on the cake, Diskantores meets Dick de Graaf Quartet and guarantees countless tingling vibrations of the eardrums.

Special music in a special place

The Hillegondakerk in Hillegersberg is the permanent location of the festival. Against the background of unique acoustics and historical setting, the sound gets enough size and background for a maximum musical experience.
