How do you survive in a society that is always 'on'? In CONTENT WARNING: few stimuli, Speels Collectief, together with director Sanne Arbouw – who herself struggles with sensitivity to stimuli and panic disorders – investigates how we relate to the endless stream of stimuli around us. The performance searches for humanity in a world full of efficiency, and asks the question: can we make room for peace, slowness and conflicting desires? With performers on stage and at a distance, a wavy, soft environment is created in which you can be your whole self. Think of earplugs, eye masks, blankets and perhaps even a low-stimulus rave. The result is a 'relaxed performance': accessible, inclusive and tailored to people who are sensitive to their environment. An intimate theatre experience that comforts, questions and explores new forms of togetherness.
