What happens to your body when it is under pressure? INSTINCT | part 1 explores human survival responses in an explosive mix of dance, music and personal stories. The performance shows how we fight, flee, freeze or please when instinct takes over from thinking. Choreographers Conny Janssen and Patricia van Deutekom join forces in this energetic co-creation in which their characteristic styles come together in a physical, raw and emotional dance language. This first part of the full-length INSTINCT project offers an intense and compelling foretaste of what is yet to come. The dancers vividly reveal what often lives invisibly under our skin.
