C'è ancora domani - Terrasbios
From classics to summer highlights from the past season. Watch them in our intimate outdoor cinema on the water: the Terrace Cinema. Delia and Ivano live with their children and Ivano's ailing father in a basement house in a typical Roman courtyard. It is 1946 and Rome is balancing between the rush of liberation and the shortcomings of the past war years. Delia resigns herself to her traditional role of wife and mother who has to make ends meet. Ivano, the patrias familias, working hard to bring home the little money, never misses an opportunity to tell this, sometimes contemptuously and sometimes harshly. He only has respect for his manipulative father, for whom Delia is an easy caregiver. It's spring and the family is excited about their daughter Marcella's engagement to a middle-class boy. Delia sees this as Marcella's chance to avoid the same fate. But everything changes when Delia receives a mysterious letter that fuels her courage to strive for a better life - and not just for herself... Inspired by the stories of grandmothers and great-grandmothers.
