Manchester-based Caoilfhionn Rose captures her wonder at the beauty of nature in her music, creating a magical, almost otherworldly world full of imagination. She interweaves atmospheric piano playing with synthesizers and combines a live rhythm section with saxophone and ambient samples. Her new album Constellation will be released on May 24, 2024 on Gondwana Records.
Caoilfhionn Rose's music is rooted in folk, jazz and the classical songwriters of the twentieth century. Recommended for fans of other Gondwana artists such as Matthew Halsall (also label boss), Hania Rani, Portico Quartet and Mammal Hands.
