Bruckners hemel en aarde - Rotterdams Philharmonisch Orkest
Since his appointment in 2018, Lahav Shani has been building a much-praised Rotterdam Bruckner cycle – 'superb', according to Gramophone.
He continues this series with the Fourth Symphony. Bruckner creates a resonant universe from the sound of the horn, birdsong and images of nature. An impressive creation, but for the eternally modest composer there was only one true creator, whom he honours in his glorious Te Deum.
