Brandstof - Performance by Nadia Bekkers in collaboration with Katarina Zdjelar

Come to Garage Rotterdam for a new edition of Brandstof, a performance within the exhibition Unknown Landscapes.

Nadia Bekkers (graduated from the School for New Dance Development in 2026) is one of the performers in Katarina Zdjelar's installation Not A Pillar Not A Pile (2017/2025) in Unknown Landscapes. In recent years, she has focused on her work with the collective Papaya Kuir, of which she is one of the founders. During Brandstof, Bekkers presents a new performance in which she enters into a dialogue with her own film material from her new living environment: the mountains in Spain. Inspired by magical realism and dreamy atmospheres, she explores questions about masculinity and violence in her performance.
