Berit Companjen & Kim Schuddeboom

She may not be that big, but fortunately her love for stand-up comedy is! Comédienne Berit Companjen is known for her sharp observations and her inviting personality. The former finalist of the prestigious Culture Comedy Award gives a show with recognizable situations. Berit Companjen was born in 1981 in the Bronovo hospital in The Hague but now lives in Leiden. In the years that followed, her mother often said the words: 'I knew it then, this child will be different'!

This theater maker of 1.52m. participated in the Groningen Student Cabaret Festival with her first performance: “In God's Name!”, did not win but was in the final. This was followed by 'Plan de Companjen' and she is currently touring the country with her show 'Enough is not enough'. She also plays with fellow comedians in the cabaret relay & finalist tour of The Culture Comedy Award. She is also active as a stand-up comedienne in numerous national comedy shows such as WILLEM's Comedy Show, Comedy Kitchen and she plays for the Utrecht Comedy House. In addition to her comedy and cabaret, you often encounter Berit as a presenter of various events. One time at The Shopping Night The Hague, the other time as master of ceremonies during the Randstand booking days. She is a fantastic host who does not shy away from interacting with the audience.


Kim (1985) has been a member of Comedytrain since 2020. Her debut performance 'Unwritten' was nominated for Neerlands Hoop 2023, an award given to the most promising theater makers. Take it easy is her second full-length performance. Kim also played hockey for twelve years, but she doesn't really want to talk about that anymore.
