When it comes to Brazilian hardcore punk, you can draw a blood-red thread from 80s pioneers Ratos de Parão and Lobotomia to Agrotoxico. Since 1993, this four-piece from São Poalo has been going crazy in their native language. With a dozen releases under their belt, you can expect a barrage of sonic violence, with their latest smash 'Era Do Caos' doing just as much as anything before it.
Night Templars
The Night Templars create a wall of sound that makes you want to drink like a Templar; an addictive brew of punk and metal with vocals that reverberate as if the roof of a cathedral is about to be blown off. Who knows, they might turn Little Red Riding Hood into a hellish dungeon.
