After their summer tour of the United States, Europe will be next in the fall and Vision Video will come to Rotterdam. This American postpunk/goth rock band is inspired by bands like The Cure and The Chameleons but creates a refreshing and modern sound within the postpunk genre. Singer and guitarist Dusty Gannon has become a household name on Instagram and Tik Tok under the name 'Goth Dad' with more than 500,000 followers. Through these channels he inspires his fans to talk about the dark aspects of human existence such as mortality, wars, mental health and traumas. All these themes are also incorporated into the music of Vision Video, which despite the heavy subjects still sounds light and melodic.

Lifeless Past

Lifeless Past makes a mix of new wave and postpunk inspired by 80s postpunk and deathrock bands. Their lyrics are about social relationships, personal experiences, romance and mental psyche. Live, Lifeless Past guarantees tight guitar melodies, catchy synths and electronic drums. The band previously played in SoundVille at the 10th edition of Wavefest, this time they share the stage with Vision Video. The musical accompaniment of this Wavefest presents edition is done by DJ CO2 and DJ Zweefteef.
