Dutch Doom Days

With the absence of the Baroegpand, we are organizing DDD in a slimmed-down form this year. We are doing this in the small but very cozy Soundville that is a stone's throw away from Baroeg. In this mini-edition, the emphasis is on one of our core values, namely offering a stage to upcoming Dutch doom bands. And we have three fantastic acts in store for you.

Death March

Dodentocht is a trio that is working hard. At the end of 2023, the first EP was released that you simply have to hear. On stage there is a convincing band with a 'take no prisoners' attitude. The leaden sludgy death/doom is reminiscent of the famous Winter. Without a doubt, Dodentocht is the rising star in the Dutch scene.

Pander has been around the longest of the three bands that fill this evening. It seems like they have stayed a bit under the radar, but since the great album “Break the Oath” from 2023, the curse has been broken. With this album, the Frisian trio brings great stoner/doom. So it is high time to see them at work in Rotterdam.

20 HZ Fader

20Hz Fader is a fairly new band from Zoetermeer that can be placed somewhere between stoner and psychedelic doom. Whatever label you want to stick to them, doesn't really matter. Heavy it is anyway. Early 2024 the first album "Lurking Below Radio Waves" will be released with which the trio leaves a great impression.
