TOTAL CHAOS

In 2019, Total Chaos celebrated its 30th anniversary with a performance during Tales From The Punx. This year we can celebrate their seventh lustrum on the other side of the Maas. These diehards look for loopholes in the law, because one of their credos is the age-old 'Fuck The System'. The fact that The Exploited has a pogo smash of the same name is no coincidence, as the British concrete punk pioneers are one of Total Chaos' great sources, while adding their own Californian kick to it. And as frontman Rob Chaos once said: “As long as the world doesn't change, there will always be a need for punk bands.”

ACIDEZ

Acidez tore down the tent at the second Tales From The Punx and did so even more rigorously a year later in Baroeg with Disturbance. We shouted before that they would blow away Trump's wall with a wall of sound. Little Red Riding Hood can handle a bump, so the roof only comes off figuratively speaking. Nevertheless, Acidez' Mexican crossover punk remains a powerful weapon.

PHANE

In the 1970s, DOA was one of the founders of hardcore punk. Phane, also Canadian, followed in their footsteps four decades later, although this foursome stepped on the gas a lot harder from the start. Take the sting of early DOA with the impact of Discharge and you pretty much know what you're going to get.
