Babygirl is an erotic thriller about Romy (Nicole Kidman), a successful CEO who risks her career and family when she starts an affair with a much younger intern, played by Harris Dickinson. The film, written and directed by Halina Reijn, is produced by the renowned American production company A24.

Romy (Nicole Kidman) is successful in business, has a loving husband (Antonio Banderas) and is a good mother. Her carefully structured existence is thrown off balance when she meets the brash intern Samuel (Harris Dickinson). As she slowly relinquishes power, Romy discovers more and more about herself and her own intimate desires. But how much control is she willing to give up? Halina Reijn wanted to make a film about self-love and how you can love all layers of yourself, “including the dark sides.”

With Bodies Bodies Bodies (2022), Halina Reijn already received a lot of praise from critics and audiences, and her latest film, Babygirl, has already made an impression at international film festivals. Nicole Kidman's powerful performance even earned her the prestigious Volpi Cup for Best Actress at the Venice Film Festival.
