Babar en het ontstaan van de wereld

Like the little elephant Babar, who ends up in the big city and learns everything about how people live from a sweet old lady – and almost becomes one.

The elephant Babar is one of the most famous children's book characters ever. Jean de Brunhoff's originally French book series conquered children's hearts all over the world from 1931 onwards. Composer Francis Poulenc even wrote a classical piece about it! Well-known children's book author Mylo Freeman wrote a new beginning to Babar's story especially for this concert. And that goes all the way back to the origins of the world!
