Assol Garcia Live in Concert
The fans have had to wait a long time for it, but Assol Garcia is finally coming to the Netherlands.
This Cape Verdean singer released her debut album 'Alma di Minino' (Soul of a Child) in 2015. With her beautiful warm voice she effortlessly interprets the Morna and Coladêra, traditional music styles from Cabo Verde.
In 2017, she won the prestigious award for 'Best Emerging Artist' at the Cabo Verde Music Awards.
Assol Garcia has a number of hits to her name such as: Bejo Furtado, Sima Kretcheu, Nós Kazamento and Fomi 47.
She also made a successful medley Rapsódia de Morna's with the most beautiful Morna's from Cabo Verde.
Her second solo album 'Ecos de mim' (Echoes of me) was released in 2023.
