For the exhibition What the Hell Was I Thinking at Kunsthal Rotterdam, Shrigley brings together a wide selection of his characteristically unconventional works, presenting them in new forms. From a three-metre-high nude model and inflatable sculptures to meteorite horseshoes and tufts of fluff locked in battle – through witty commentary he explores failure, doubt, and the art of the everyday. The result is Shrigley at his finest: work that makes you laugh, unsettles you, and prompts reflection.
