Arab Film Festival Rotterdam
Over the years, the Rotterdam Arab Film Festival (RAFF) has grown from a Rotterdam initiative into a leading international festival held annually in the port city. As an artistic platform, RAFF creates a safe space for open conversations about art, humanity, emancipation, and political freedom.
Each year, in close collaboration with filmmakers and partners from the MENA region (Middle East and North Africa), we select films of high artistic and substantive quality. The result is a diverse program that challenges stereotypes and offers a rich overview of the most important films from the Arab world – from Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, and Palestine to Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.
The 26th edition of the Arab Film Festival will take place in Rotterdam from 10 to 14 June 2026.
