Anne-Roos: release debuut-EP
Jazz singer Anne-Roos recently released her debut EP ‘The Start of Something Big’. On 30 October, she will bring this music to Stadsbrouwerij Pelgrim in Delfshaven with her six-piece band.
Anne-Roos is one of the emerging jazz vocalists in the Netherlands who combines the timeless romance and elegance of classic jazz with a warm, soulful sound and poetic lyrics. Last year she performed at North Sea Jazz and won the Van Poelgeest Young Talent Award. Earlier this month, she released her debut EP ‘The Start of Something Big’. Through her music, she takes you through all the phases of love she experienced during her student life. Together with the friends who shared these moments with her, she brings these stories to life during her concert at Stadsbrouwerij Pelgrim. Line-up: Anne-Roos | vocals Francisco Rodríguez | piano Marcos Sánchez Martínez | double bass Rafaël Slors | drums Femke Mooren | alto saxophone Simon Beets | trumpet
