Amsterdam Sinfonietta & Bruce Liu prize-winning Chopin

For this collaboration, Amsterdam Sinfonietta has arranged Chopin's most famous works for piano and string orchestra.

Bruce Liu was born in Paris to Chinese parents and raised in Montreal. That has shaped his attitude, personality and character: “what we all have in common are our differences.” This led to his breakthrough as a pianist when he won the Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw in 2021. Bruce Liu joins the Amsterdam Sinfonietta for the first time with Frederic Chopin's second piano concerto and the virtuoso Polonaise brillante, both pieces arranged for piano and string orchestra.
