Alles gaat kapot Abattoir Fermé

The latest performance by Abattoir Fermé is a comedy about an unfortunate family of architects in which everything falters, breaks or falls flat. Household belongings are destroyed, relationships fall apart and interiors are demolished until only atoms remain. And when those atoms split, everything is destroyed – definitively.

Oh yeah! Because it is normal for a family of architects to live in a sublime home, the decor is designed by architect Ben van Berkel and his world-famous UNStudio - known for futuristic skyscrapers, bridges, stations and museums from Shenzhen to New York. The architectural design is then expertly demolished by Abattoir's in-house scenographer Sven van Kuijk. Because even with exquisite architecture, everything breaks down.
