Afscheidsconcert Willeke Alberti Dag Lief Rotterdam

In 2022, Willeke Alberti said goodbye to the theater. Well, at least as far as her solo theater tours are concerned, she clarified at the time. She concluded her theater tour with a beautiful farewell concert in the Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. After that she certainly did not stop performing, but she started “singing for healthcare” more often. Her performances in care centers bring a lot of joy to the people there and to the heart of Willeke. She will be 80 next year and only wants to do performances that really give her energy.

When we approached the Grande Dame of the Dutch anthem to ask whether she might want to participate in our special Sunday morning concerts again, she enthusiastically shouted, “Then together with my wonderful band we will create a fantastic farewell concert especially for Rotterdam! Because I also love Rotterdam very much and my father always liked to perform in Rotterdam.”

So Rotterdam and surrounding areas: everyone ensure a packed room full of warm hearts for Willeke Alberti on this very special Sunday morning, November 24, 2024!
