A shadow can see

Gavin-Viano collaborates with video artist Wes Broersen, animator Viktor Adriaansen, music producers Donna Lugassy, Nedda Sou, Sennes and percussion association Ritmo Entertainment.

The performance revolves around the shadow as the main figure, who advocates an independent life. Abstracted reflections of the stage scene & the performer are used to bring this entity to life.

With the help of a Motion Capture Suit, Gavin-Viano's shadow takes on a physical form through digitalization. This in combination with the rhythmic heartbeat, which is created live by the percussionists & in which sound analysis takes on a driving role not only musically but also visually.
