12 Ensemble performs Metamorphosis A musical transformation immersed in live visuals

After an impressive concert during our season opening, London's 12 Ensemble returns with Metamorphosis: the miraculous transformation of existence, ending in Strauss' monumental elegy for lost beauty. Immersed in a dream world of live visuals by famous art director Ben Ditto.

The pieces that 12 Ensemble chose for Metamorphosis find their inspiration in metamorphoses in all forms. Renaissance hymns reborn as futuristic prayer, ancient Japanese rituals and otherworldly opera arias. Strauss' well-known Metamorphoses can be heard alongside the almost never performed Zipangu by cult composer Claude Vivier. The live visuals of famous art director Ben Ditto immerse the 12 Ensemble in a matching dream world.
