Openluchtfilmfestival Roffa Mon Amour - Queer Rotterdam workshops

Together with Queer Rotterdam, we’re hosting two workshops at the same time: each offering a different way to connect, reflect, and engage with queer experience before the screening of Lesbian Space Princess (2024). Whether you feel like diving into conversation or taking a moment for self-reflection, both workshops create space for softness, curiosity, and new connections. Choose what feels right for you, everyone is welcome.

Workshop 1: Queer Speed Dating

Looking for a date? Or maybe just some queer connections? Join us for a Queer Speed Dating session hosted by Queer Rotterdam, right before the screening of Lesbian Space Princess (2024).

Once you’ve registered, you’ll receive a discount code for the screening (please note: signing up for this event does not include a film ticket).

Fill in a short form and we’ll match you with a few other participants based on your preferences. Expect short, easygoing conversations with help from some ice-breaker prompts. Whether you’re looking for love or new queer friendships, this space is for you. Between the dating and the film, there’s time to mingle, grab a drink, and maybe spark something special.

Hosted by Zan (Queer Rotterdam / Queer Events010), who has been organizing queer connection events for over a year.

Workshop 2: Self-Doubt Workshop

Perfectionism, comparison and self-doubt: it shows up in all of us. This workshop, led by Queer Rotterdam and guided by mental health specialist Katy (she/they), offers space to reflect and reconnect with self-trust.

Through conversation, creative exercises, and reflection, we’ll explore how doubt lives in us and how we can relate to it differently. You don’t need to have any experience, just come as you are. All feelings and perspectives are welcome.
