Exhibit This! The Museum Comedies
Rotterdam English Speaking Theatre (REST) returns to the stage with a museum comedy where paintings come to life, argue among themselves, and leave museum guards desperately trying to control the chaos.
Have you ever visited a museum and felt the eyes of the paintings following you?
Ever sensed art… speaking to you?
Tonight, it actually will.
Our exhibition has it all: painters still in love with their own work, arguing artworks, an Egyptian God with a cat allergy, and a fugitive Greek philosopher. Museum guards attempt, bravely, but not always successfully, to maintain order.
Inspired by real exhibits, Exhibit This! is an English-language comedy racing through a series of short, sharp scenes, for an evening where the museum itself becomes the performance.
The museum doors open soon. As entry is limited, advanced booking is strongly recommended.

Who are we?
What started in 2012 as an initiative among friends who were hooked up with performing, grew into Rotterdam’s first English-speaking theatre group. Today, we are proud of the vibrant and international community we have created, bringing together people from all over the world who share a passion for theatre and the spotlight. We often perform in Rotterdam and The Hague.
