Get fashion pieces from Denzel Dumfries and other top footballers
The ReShare Store on Korte Hoogstraat will be the goal for fans of football and fashion on 28 and 29 November. Denzel Dumfries will then organise a pop-up with his social organisation Denzel Dumfries Unlimited Care & Education (DUCE) where garments from the personal wardrobes of top national and international athletes can be scored.
Among others, Denzel Dumfries (Inter Milan), Mitchell van Bergen (Sparta Rotterdam), Kirsten van de Westeringh (Feyenoord) and players from the Eredivisie, Premier League and La Liga are donating items to help youngsters take a step forward.
In addition to selling clothes in collaboration with Ballers Market, the pop-up also provides a space for meeting. There will be talks on style, identity and social impact, music and a barbershop by Jorstudio.
A large part of the proceeds will go to DUCE, the social organisation owned by Denzel and Marleen Dumfries. DUCE is committed to the mental, physical and social development of young people, with projects that encourage self-confidence and talent development.
Denzel Dumfries: ''At DUCE, we know how it feels when life doesn't come naturally. We want young people to experience that they are seen, that they have power and that their story matters. This collaboration is a way for us to bring the community together. That we are doing this in Rotterdam - the place where my own path began - makes it extra special."
Mark van Wijnen (together with Linne Dierckx founder of Ballers Market): ''Ballers Market shows that fashion and social impact can go hand in hand. Together with DUCE, ReShare, Derbystar and the affiliated athletes, we bring sport, fashion and community together in a movement that makes a real difference. So not just another event, but a sustainable movement in which we use the reach of top athletes to create something lasting."
(RE)SHARE THE GAME
On Friday 28 November, the opening event will be between 19:00 and 22:00. You can sign up for (RE)SHARE THE GAME via this link (there is a limited number of spots). During the evening, the unique garments will already be on offer. With every purchase, buyers will receive a replica Eredivisie match ball from sponsor Derbystar. On Saturday, the pop-up will be open to all between 10am and 6pm.
