Legends of Feyenoord and Celtic match up at De Kuip

Uitagenda Rotterdam

De Kuip will be the setting for a unique football experience on Sunday 12 October as Feyenoord Legends take on Celtic Legends in the battle for the Wim Jansen Cup. All proceeds from this special match will go to the Feyenoord Foundation, which is dedicated to talent development and healthy living in Rotterdam and the surrounding area.

Led by Bert van Marwijk, icons such as Graziano Pellè, Dirk Kuyt, Giovanni van Bronckhorst, Pierre van Hooijdonk, Karim El Ahmadi, Salomon Kalou and Eljero Elia will join Feyenoord. Also present are Royston Drenthe, Daryl Janmaat, André Bahia, Patrick Paauwe, Ruben Schaken, Hossam Ghaly, Nuri Şahin, Jan-Arie van der Heijden, Glenn Loovens, Bonaventure Kalou, Diego Biseswar, Brad Jones, Johan Elmander, Tomasz Rzasa, Eric Botteghin, Ali Boussaboun and Henk Timmer. Celtic are also deploying an impressive selection of former players. Beforehand, the legendary You'll Never Walk Alone will be heard, the song that has linked both clubs for decades.

Visitors can take part in sporting games on the outer ring before kick-off, discover the supporters' square with music and fun, and even have their photo taken with the historic 1970 European Cup. The match starts at 13:00.

Tickets are available from the official Feyenoord Ticketshop, starting at €18.
