What did you guys do?
'In The Building Site of Museum Rotterdam 40-45 NOW, we actively and creatively answered questions about how people can get on well with each other. Using the IPad, we went from one question to another. To answer the questions, we had to do different activities such as turning wheels and looking at mirrors. When we had answered all the questions and collected as many points as possible, we received a certificate as a reward.'
What did you guys think?
'The assignments we had to do to answer the questions made it never boring. We learnt a lot. For example, about what freedom is and about having prejudices against other (groups of) people. We also realised that we live in a nice country.'
Would you recommend the outing?
'Yes! And also take a look at the part of the museum where film, photos, sound and props such as costumes, bombs and planes explain the bombing of Rotterdam. There were quite a few tourists in the museum. There was an American couple who told us that their fathers had fought in the war. Pretty special anyway.'
