American R&B legends Joe and Dru Hill are coming to the RTM Stage on Tuesday 16 December. During this special evening, the icons join forces for a unique show, which will also feature Sisqó, known for his worldwide solo hit Thong Song. The show will be festively opened by R&B Sing-a-Long, with DJ Irwan and singer Rico Greene taking the audience past the biggest R&B hits.
Grammy-nominated R&B singer and songwriter Joe has been an icon within the R&B genre for many years. With his distinctive voice and timeless classics, including I'm in Luv, If I Was Your Man and I Wanna Know, he manages to touch many music lovers worldwide. Joe released 13 studio albums over the past decades and sold more than 15 million records worldwide.
Dru Hill, featuring original members Sisqó, Nokio, Jazz, Scola, Smoke and Black, will also be there. The group is known for their unique blend of soul, hip-hop and gospel. With hits like In My Bed, How Deep Is Your Love, We're Not Making Love No More and Sisqo's well-known solo hits like Thong Song and Unleash the Dragon.
Danny Lieuw, owner of Universal Sound Projects and organiser of the concert, says this event makes for a special gathering: "This concert brings together two generations of R&B fans for a once-in-a-lifetime celebration of music that is timeless. Joe and Dru Hill are greats in their genre and it is an honour to bring them together on one stage."
